Alumina Ceramic Protective Tube (99.7% Al2O3 material) can be used at operating temperature up to 1800℃ in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. Tubes have been evacuated to  10-7 Torr.  It proves inert to carbon and refractory metals in many severe situations.
