1. COMPOSITION AND PRESENTATION
FR4 is a stratified round tube made from glass cloth and epoxy resin.
At delivery time the presentation of the tube is as follows:
- Nominal length: 900 – 1200 mm. |
- Nominal inner diameter: 8 - 500 mm |
- Colour: light green |
- Surfaces: Shining |
- Minimum wall thickness: 1.5 mm | |

The surface should be even; lamination and bubbles are not allowable; but light wrinkles and tracks from trimming not exceeding tolerance for wall thickness are permitted. Light wrinkles on inner wall are permitted. Two ends should be cut even
3. APPLICATIONS.
It can be used as insulation construction parts in electric apparatus, under moist condition and in
transformer oil; can also be used in space navigation industry as parts of radar, rocker, aircraft; in
navigation as sound-permeable material of sonar; in petroleum chemical industry as corrosion-and
solvent-resisting material.
