Plastic Sheet Features

Manufacture Plastic Sheet Line
Plastic pellets are fed into the barrel of the extruder and conveyed by the screw, the heaters which are outside of the barrel of the extruder as well as the friction from the rotation of the screw melt the plastic pellets into a sheet mold and then placed on a three-roll calender, the produced sheet goes through the bottom and middle roll,wrapping around back of the middle roll and then back to the top roll or other methods as shown in sheet calender picture, these rolls are helpful to take the heat out of the sheet, after the sheet comes off the roll,it moves down the conveyor to the end of sheet line where the edge trimmer cuts the sheet to width as well as a sheet shear cutter to length.

Plastic sheet production line adopts different screw designs and mechanical configurations to be suitable for manufacturing a variety of plastic sheet (eg:PVC,PP,PE,PS,ABS,PET,PMMA,etc.)
1. Extruder: special design of screw, precise temperature control system, good plasticization, high output and stable extrusion
2. Screen exchanger: hydraulic, fast and efficient changing
3. T-die: high grade alloy-steel material, multi-channel design and adjustable die lip gap
4. Three-roll calender: horizontal/vertical/tillted roll arrangement, adjustable roll gap to ensure calender effect and equipped with roll temperature controller
5. Cooling frame: cold roll, fan cooling and equipped with siding trimming
6. Winder: equipped with high quality torque motor, adjustable rewinding speed and tension
Plastic sheets produced from this type of extrusion equipment are sturdy,yet remains somewhat flexible.
