Range of Application

The Autonomic standard offers a system which is universally suitable for the periodical re-qualification of industrial Gas cylinder.

1. Cylinder diameter: Φ356×1840mm ( typical product) , linear portion: 1480, the range of cylinder diameter: Φ219mm-Φ406mm (as Graph 1)

Testing standard:

ISO 9303-1989 --- Seamless and welded (except submerged arc-welded) steel tubes for pressure purposes —Full peripheral ultrasonic testing for the detection of longitudinal imperfections

Acceptance criterion:  ISO 9303 :1989  Longitudinal flaws    L2 class standard --- Depth of defect is 5 % of wall thickness and detection is for 25mm long notches.
