Rib Lath
Metal lath is initially cut to size, fitted onto the supporting structure, and then attached to the supporting structure with fasteners. After application the metal lath must be entirely behind the surface plane of the eventual stucco membrane.
When securing rib lath, the majority of fasteners should reside beside the ribs. Further-more, when overlapping two pieces of rib lath, any ribs on the first piece must be in line with their counterparts on the second.

Complies with BS 1369 part 1:1987 specification for expanded metal and ribbed lathing.
Applications & Design
