The world's first a tatami flooring with a safe and secure antibacterial (SEK) function.
Kumamoto-made nano-platinum process tatami mats that draw from historical and traditional technologies.
Tatami mats produced using very carefully selected rush grass from DAIICHI SHOJI
contract farmers.
By having farmers manage single rush grass fields, the rush grass grows more uniform
with less color variation. When compared to cheap and foreign-made products, the difference is evident.
And by putting the tatami through an antibacterial nano-platinum process,
it is sanitary and can be used with ease of mind.
The product comes with a nano-platinum tag.
This tag is attached to nano-platinum processed products sold by DAIICHI SHOJI; at a glance,
it is possible to understand it as a DAIICHI SHOJI nano-platinum product.
The standard thickness of tatami mats is 25 mm.
Different thicknesses are available upon request; prices will vary.
The back is attached to non-woven fabric to reduce scratches and dirt on the floor.
This can be changed to a nonslip material upon request. (The price will vary)
The tatami mats use rush grass from contract farmers who use environmentally friendly soil practices.
They have received eco-farmer certification from Japan(the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries).
This is displayed on the tatami mats. (This is not applied to the products sold)
The nano-platinum process has acquired the antibacterial processing indicator SEK mark from
the "Japan Textile Evaluation Technology Council" rating agency.
This is the variation of platinum tatami mats.
When compared to low-grade rush grass, it is easy to understand the special tatami used in this product.
Here are 4 "Hikime" mats together. This is the most orthodox tatami mat.
Here are 4 "Ichimatsu" mats together. The Ichimatsu pattern makes for a special atmosphere.
Laying out "Heri-nashi" mats, the room becomes stylish and feels more spacious.
