Lightweight Engine Overview
Lightweight Engine Concept: Reduce the surface area and weight of pistons and the friction in cylinders to improve the active power. Increase the size of air inlet/outlet valve heads to enhance engine performance. At now, our company provides two lightweight engine models:
1: GY6125 lightweight engine (Model: BN152QMI-2)
2: GY7125 lightweight engine (Model: BN152QMI-2A)

II. Advantages of Engine Model BN152QMI-2
Engine Model BN152QMI-2 is a modern single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine. This model is a upgraded product optimized from our existing GY6 125 engine. Case body, crankshaft, piston, piston ring, cylinder head and air valve are optimized to highly improve the following performance of engine. Currently, it is the ideal engine for luxurious motorcycles.
1. Powerful: maximum power of engine BN152QMI-2 increases by 10%, up to 5.9kw/7500r/min, 0.5 kwhigher than the power of regular engine model
2. High startup acceleration: increase by 10%--15%
3. High overtaking acceleration: increase by 10%--15%
4. High maximum speed: increase by 3-4km/h
5. High climbing performance: slope angle increases by 1—2 degree
6. Low noise

8. Good durability
9. Temperature reduction: this model is made of plastic parts allowing for temperature reduction by 6-9degree

Different parts of GY6125 lightweight engine from regular GY6125
1. Piston (lightweight piston)
2. Air valve (larger air valve head)
3. Cylinder head (larger inlet/outlet air valve seat)
4. Piston ring (ring height of 0.8mm)
5. Case body (Use special ZNEN demoulder for thicker wall and higher weight of the case and higher strength of bearing holes at crankcase and gearbox.)
6. Plastic parts (special plastic parts for temperature reduction)
7. Crankshaft (imported needle as specified)
Piston: special lightweight piston:

Difference: Compared to regular piston, lightweight piston has 30% less surface area so as to reduce friction and power loss.

Side cover: the wall thickness of ZNEN side cover is 2.9mm allowing for reduction of noise of engine. The weight of side cover is 1435 grams to ensure good quality.
GY6125 lightweight engine is better than GY6125 regular engine in terms of maximum power, maximum speed, startup acceleration, overtaking acceleration and climbing performance.

A. High engine power: the maximum power of GY6125 lightweight engine is 5.9--6.1kw/h, which is 0.5--0.7kw/h higher than that of GY6125 regular engine
B. Higher maximum speed (measured in same vehicle model)
The maximum speed of GY6125 lightweight engine is 4-6km/h higher than that of GY6125 regular engine
C. Faster startup and overtaking acceleration, better climbing performance
V. Reliability of Engine
2. 5 engines were tested in heavy duty. After heavy duty test for 200 hours, there was no abnormality and the size of all parts remains normal.
