This is a very good umbrella. What is not mentioned is that there is a plastic auger at the base that is permanently afixed so that without removal it cannot be used in an umbrella stand. The augar is designed to use in the sand. I doubt that it will hold the umbrella in any wind. I drilled out the rivet holding the augar on to the shaft as that it can be used away from the beach in a stand or a table designed to hold an umbrella.
