For fresh bread / spong cake preservation, we usually recommend the Alcohol volatiles ET pack which made from ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), hydrates, ferrate and alkali aqueous solution. It maintains food quality by means of the anti-fungal property of the alcohol.

When an ET pack is inserted in a package and sealed, the food grade alcohol in the ET pack gradually volatilizes, preventing microbes (especially mold) from growing and keeping food fresh for longer. It is particularly effective in keeping sweets or cakes moist.

The size of ET pack required depends on the weight and the water activity of the food.
