Detailed Product Description:
Laminated glass is made of two or more pieces of glass between which one layers and multi-layers of PVB with strong cohesion is sandwiched under high temperature and pressure..
Feature:
1) Safety:
PVB can quickly absorb and weaken a mass of striking energy when laminated glass is attacked by outside force. Therefore laminated glass is hard to be penetrated and can remain integrally in the frame even when it is broken.
Tempered laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, tempered laminated glass is held in place by an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB), between its two or more layers of tempered laminated glass. The interlayer keeps the layers of tempered laminated glass bounded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the tempered laminated glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. This produces a characteristic spider web cracking pattern when the impact is nor enough to completely pierce the tempered laminated glass.
2) Security:
Because it is not possible to cut laminated glass by glass cutter and it is time costing and loud sound would be caused to penetrate laminated glass by other instruments, and it is easy to be discovered. Therefore, laminated glass has strong resistance function to evil destruction, robbery and violence.
3) Sound insulation performance:
PVB can effectively prevent sound wave. Sound wave can be obviously weakened when it goes through laminated glass so that noise disturbance is reduced.
4) Anti-UV:
There is UV-absorber additive in the PVB which can prevent as high as more then 99% of UV. So laminated glass can protect the valuable furniture, exhibit and artwork from discoloring and destroying from UV.
5) Heat Insulation performance:
Laminated glass, specially colored laminated glass, can reduce sunshine transmission, decrease the charge for air conditioner and save energy.
6) Fireproofing:
When laminated glass is heated and roasted, it would not broken immediately. Then the fire will be limited in one place in a longer time. There is more time to find out the fire and put it off.
7) Anti-bullet and anti-explosion:
Multi-layer laminated glass can be made into various products of anti-bullet, anti-bombing and anti-explosion.
8) Typhoon, hurricane and earthquake resistance:
Laminated glass's high persistent and strong cohesion enable the fragments remain in place, thus it is suitable for typhoon, hurricane and earthquake etc.
9) Application:
Extensively used in high class building's doors and windows, curtain wall, skylight, suspended ceiling, glass wall, glass furniture, show case and aquarium, etc..
