Tempered & Insulated Glass

Insulated glass is made of two or more pieces of glass between which aluminum frame is filled with highly efficient molecular absorbent. The edge of insulating glasss is sealed by high strenth sealing sealants (double sealing:Butyl should be used for the first sealing, polysulfide rubber or silicon strucral sealants should be chosen according to glazing manner

Optical performance
Various glass substrates can be used for IGU to meet the request of sunlight transmission and reflection. Generally, the range of sunlight transmission rate is 10-80%, reflection rate is 13-35%.

Termal Performance
Heat transfer coefficient U value can be effectively reduced by IGU, If intert gas as neon, argon, helium is filled, heat tranfer coefficient can be further dramatically reduced.

Sound insulation performance
Insulated glass is ideal sound insulating material.Normal IGU can reduce noise by 30 decibel,and IGU filled with inert gas can further 5 decibel.It means IGU can reduce 80 decibel traffic noise  into 45 decibel, which is very quite.

Anti-dew under low temperture
As Insulated glass is filled with enough dedesiccant, it can effectively absorb the vapor in the inner space or penetrated from outside to ensure the gas in inner space is absolutely dry and would not dew.

Light weight
Under the same effect of heat insulation, the replacement of partial brick wall or concrete with IGU can reduce load of building and simplify building structure.

Application
Widely used in doors and windows, ceiling, curtain wall,partition of high class buildings; place where sound insulation is of theutmost importance, such as school, hospital, office building, airport, and hotel; also applied for refrigeration appliance, aircraft, ships, etc.
