How to check the quality of LED panel light without testing machine?
The structure for LED ceiling panel is simple, it mainly consists of 3 parts mainly, let's do it one by one.
Part One. Aluminum body
1. Weight- for aluminum, the more heavy, the more thick the body , the better
2. Material- Aluminum is better than plastic or mix materials
Part Two. LED
1. Brand- There're many brands, Epistar(Taiwan brand) is the most competitive, San'an is best in Chinese brands.
2. Testing by aging equipment is more direct way
3. Brightness- this is complex, <50lm/W and >120lm/W are neither good. Low lumens means low brightness, >120lm/W maybe high decay=short lifespam.
4. Average of lightoutput- When you look at the light, it is average, but not somewhere dark, somewhere bright.
Part Three. Driver
1. Components- If you open the cover by screwing,the more components it has, the safer/better.
2. PF - the higher, the better.
3. Appearance, weight, which you can check also.
