Cork underlay can be installed under any type of flooring.
It is excellent in protecting the flooring and the subfloor from rot and degradation.
To meet sound control standards and requirements for building inspection, cork underlay is your best - and often your cheapest - choice.
Cork is the thick, light weight, elastic outer bark of the cork oak tree. The bark naturally splits every 9 to 15 years and can be safely harvested without causing harm to the tree.
Cork is naturally hypoallergenic and is resistant to mold and mildew.
