Product Description
Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), also known as manual metal arc (MMA) welding, and flux-shielded arc welding or informally as stick welding, is a manual arc welding process that uses a consumable electrode coated in flux to lay the weld.
Suitable for welding stainless steel, carbon steel and carbon arc gas gouging.
Apply to the welding in such trades as pressure container, food machinery, metal structure, petroleum, chemical machinery, vehicle making, shipbuilding and pipeline engineering.
