What is the rice bran oil extraction method?
Rice bran oil extraction technology
- Plant oil extraction (vegetable oil extraction) method is to apply the principle of extraction to make plant oil (vegetable oil). It is different from oil press, uses a chemical solvent , which can dissolve the grease of organic solvents (n- hexane, etc.), to contact (immersion or spray) the raw material , then oil in plant (vegetable) is extracted.
Immerse the oil embryos(or pre-pressing cake) in the selected solvent. The oil will be dissolved in solvent (consisting of miscella), then separate the miscella and solid residue (meal), after that, miscella is evaporated and stripped according to the different boiling point, the solvent is vaporized into steam and and separated from oil, so as to obtain the oil (extracted crude oil). Solvent vapor is condensed and cooled to recycle. There is also a certain amount of solvent in meal, the dry meal will be produced after desolventizing and drying process, the volatile solvent vapor during the process of desolventizing and drying is still recycled condensed, cooled by recycling.
