Nylon Sheet Low Friction
Nylon Sheet is an engineering plastic which will provide very low friction whilst in operation and components that are
produced using Nylon Sheet will often reduce overall drag which may increase production speeds or reduce energy costs.
Nylon Sheet abrasion resistance
Nylon Sheet is an excellent engineering plastic for high abrasion applications and also where making abrasive components are
coming into contact with any Nylon Sheet parts. It will often outperform many of the traditional materials such as brass or
phosphor bronze by many times which will save in machine down time and also further component remanufacture.
Nylon Sheet impact resistance
Nylon Sheet is excellent at impact resistance and shock absorption. This will often be an advantage over metallic materials as
harmful vibrations being transmitted to components may cause damage or fatigue. Nylon Sheet offers a degree of elasticity to
reduce stress in other critical areas during operation.
Nylon Sheet easy to machine
Because Nylon Sheet is much more easily machined than the traditional metallic materials such as brass or phosphor bronze,
it will often save yet more money in terms of component machining time and speed up the sometimes critical downtime.
Nylon Sheet is also less demanding on machining tools and cutters will not need to be replaced as often.
