API 8C Traveling Block Hooks
Product Description
The housing assembly is made of thick section steel plate to provide enough weight. The wire line is kept taut when hoisting or lowering the unloaded block.
The sheave frooves are hardened by medium frequency induction to provide extended serice life. Equipment with double-row conical roler bearings and each bearing is individually lubricated. The traveling blocks conform to API Spec 8C.
Hook block complies with API 8C standard.
Joining traveling block and hook together reduces overall length and can help satisfying the requirements of top drive operation.
The hook block is equipped with the reliable safety devices on the main hook.
The main parts are made of high strength alloy steels and are subjected to nondestructive testing.
The sheave grooves have been intermediate frequency quenched, which can improve the hardness of the surface, the wearness, and the service life.
