Water Jet Cutting is an industrial manufacturing technique that uses a very highly pressurized
stream of water to cut through just about it anything.
TUNGSTEN CARBIDE NOZZLES are usually considered to be the most durable of all material
types. In cases of dirty unfiltered water, they are the most durable. In applications where flow rates
exceed 190 lpm (50 gpm) or more, water may not be filtered and these users typically get the
longest life from carbide nozzles.
Materials that can be cut include :
rubber, foam, plastics, leather, composites, stone, tile, metals, food, paper, aluminum, and more.
The water stream is usually mixed with an abrasive powder, but pure water can be used when
cutting softer materials.
