Application:
MDC doctor blade is widely used in gravure packing printing, publication gravure printing, flexography,flexible UV printing, coating printing, offset coating, pressure-sensitive printing, screen printing and decorative materials printing , etc.
1).Doctor blade with precision carbon steel strip for long runs and abrasive inks.
2). used for all types of substrate and inks, suitable for flex printing, such as wide web printing press, label press, corrugated pre-print and post printing press, gravure printing, decorate material’s printing, coating and varnishing.
The blade holder and support blade must be kept clean
The doctor blade must be mounted straight without ripples
The doctor blade must be parallel to the support blade
The optimum contact angle of the blade and the cylinder is between 55-60, which allows for the least pressure on blade tip and at the same time gives the best wiping result. But according to different kinds of printing machine, doctor blade holder ior cylinder type, the angle should be adjusted a little.
