Product description:
OptiX Metro 500 compact STM-1 multiservice transmission platform (MSTP) is designed to improve the bandwidth operation efficiency of optical transmission network and the management effiency, which can achieve the transmission and management of STM-1, E1/T1, E3/T3, N×64K and Ethernet service. It has high integration level, easy installment methods and various power-access methods, which makes it suitable for telecom operators to transfer terminal access services and reduce the operation cost of the telecom network.
Product features:
OptiX Metro 500has two shapes, OptiX Metro 500Ⅱand OptiX Metro 500Ⅰ, under comparison, OptiX Metro 500 has added the function of storage battery, and its appearance and its installment methods. The Ⅱ type equipment provides the function of 220V AC power access and storage battery discharge. It can be installed by wall hanging.

SDH interface: OptiX Metro 500 provides various specifications of STM-1 optical interfaces.
PDH interface: OptiX Metro 500 provides multiway E1, T1, E3, and T3 interfaces.
Ethernet interface: Metro 500 provides 10/100M Ethernet interfaces.
N×64K nterface: OptiX Metro 500 supports multiway N×64K interfaces.
Clock interface: OptiX Metro 500 provides external clock input and output interfaces.
Switching value interface:OptiX Metro 500provides on-off input and output interface.
Transparent data interface :OptiX Metro 500 provides asynchronous transparent data interface with the maximum rate of 19.2k.
Cross ability
the cross capacity of OptiX Metro 500 is 6×6VC-4 full cross.
Networking and protection
Networking and protection can form the chain network, and can also form the ring network, supporting single-channel and double-channel protection, as well as multiplexing section protection.
Network management
OptiX iManager T2000 can have integrated operation, maintenance and management(OAM) to OptiX Metro 500, achieving circuits configuration and scheduling, ensuring network’s save operation as well as supporting localization management of the web server.
