Origin: Guangdong / Fujian
Laver is a kinds of red algae, naturally growing on the surface of stone in shallow sea, no fertilizer or pesticide.
Laver is harvested in late Autumn, only one time each year. It lasts about 3-4 months. Then fresh laver is made into dry one, keep in cool warehouse and sell all the year round.
No food colorant or food additive is added.
Because of low fat, low calorie, rich in protein, iodine, iron, etc, laver has been a healthy diet food in many asia families, especially vegetarian.
Processing: Harvesting --> Washing --> Shaping --> Drying --> Packing
1. Thin Film & Sticker: Most popular packing style, usually pack with seasoning.
2. Plastic bag: Hot-sale in supermarket, pack with seasoning or desiccant.

Before cooking, Wash or NOT?
Generally Speaking, seaweed was washed and infared dried, clean enough, no wash again.
Then if wash, please use 100°c boiling water or brine with 4~5% salt content, so as to avoid clearing the nutrience, phycoerythrin away. Finish within 1 minute.
