Galvanized steel security mesh is woven mesh in hot dipped galvanized wire. The steel security mesh is galvanised and then finished in a satin black coating. This mesh offers the maximum strength and is the most practical solution for our inland conditions. In most cases this would be our recommendation for non grille or cast insert doors and screens which is powdercoated in any colour you like as long as it is black.
It has been independently tested to Australian Standards for resistence to knife and shear attack along with other longevity tests and standards to be considered a genuine security door option.
The galvanised steel mesh provides the strongest protection for most applications however there is a 316 marine grade Stainless Steel mesh option which is almost as stong,but slightly more costly. It is really more suited to corrosive salt water or industrial environments.
