I.PEHD Description
PEHD is used in a variety of applications and industries where excellent impact resistance, high tensile strength, low moisture absorption and chemical and corrosion resistance properties are required.
II. PEHD Characteristics
Advantages:
1. Resists organic solvents, degreasing agents & electrolytic attack.
2. Excellent chemical resistance.
3. Good Fatigue & Wear Resistance
4.Good electrical insulation
5. High flexibility (also at low temperature)

Disadvantages:
1. Poor mechanical properties
2. Poor ventilation, easy deformation, easyaging, brittle-prone, easy stress cracking
3.Low surface hardness, scratch easily.
4. Difficult to print
5.Surface is lackluster
6. HF welding not recommended
7. Difficult to varnish and glue
8.Not weather resistant
III. PEHD Applications
1. Used to the packaging film, rope, bags, fishing nets
2. Used to commodity housing, non-load bearing components, plastic box, turnover box
3. Used to extrusion blow molding containers
