Product overview
Security platform has three main components, three-layer steel structure platform, operation protection system, video monitoring system. It conducts visual inspection and maintenance of main parts such as pantograph, air-conditioner, train gate, lights and others of metro trains, and timely provides comprehensive repair in case of any fault endangering the traveling safety, as to ensure the safety of operators.
Product functions
- Have a three-layer steel structure platform for inspection, maintenance and replacement of equipment on the bottom and side surfaces of the train body and the one on the top of the train.
- The intermediate and top layer platforms are provided with a security fence at the side close to the train body, and a security net at the non-work side, in order to improve the operating safety.
- Accordingly, parking line is set for the intermediate platform, to ensure trains are parked at the correct and accurate positions.
- Each platform is provided with electrical facilities of lighting lamp, power distribution box and security light, providing convenience for operation and patrol.
- Access control of maintenance personnel to the top-layer door and computer interlocking on/off status of the isolating switch, to prevent electric shock of the maintenance personnel in charge of the operations on top of trains.
- Remote automation control of On/Off of the catenary isolation switch, which relieves the labor intensity of workers, and improves the working efficiency.
- Automated connection of the catenary grounding device, to prevent electric accidents on top of catenary due to maloperation.
- Allow for real-time video monitoring and recording of the top-of-train operations of maintenance personnel and the train movement, favorable for management personnel to timely identify the violation acts and take preventive measures. Support voice prompt when the isolating switch is on or off.

Product composition
The metro security platform is made of three parts, the three-layer steel structure platform, operation protection system and video monitoring system.
1.Three-layer steel structure platform
The three-layer platform is primarily used for all-round operations of maintenance staff, equipment and transport tools on the whole metro train in the same period of time. The bottom-layer platform is used for inspection, test and material transportation of facilities in the running gear and the lower gear; the intermediate platform is designed to facilitate the in and out of compartments of operators, mainly during inspections of pantograph and air-conditioner and other top equipment. Protective facilities are set at the side without top-of-train operations to prevent any top operator from falling off. The platform is provided with protective railings, to protect the safety of maintenance staff, and hook-type safety chains are set at the railings of the middle platform besides the door, so that the maintenance staff can get in and out of the train more conveniently. Access control system is provided at the stairway entrance to the top-layer platform, as to prevent the maintenance staff from entering the top platform by mistake.
2. Operation protection system
The operation protection system is to accomplish the power supply and disconnection control of the catenary in the operation area, automated connection and disconnection of ground wires, access control of operators in the top platform, achieve safe interlocking of relevant equipment, card control operation flow, and timely warn the field operators, as to ensure the safety of operators and relevant equipment, improving and operating efficiency. In addition, the system also supports automated statistics of operating train No., quantity, top-of-train operators and the operation time, to provide convenience for information management of maintenance.
3. Video monitoring system
The video monitoring system can achieve real-time monitoring and recording of the top-of-train operations, On/Off status of the isolating switch, connection of the automatic grounding device and the process of trains in and out of warehouse, which will facilitate the management personnel to timely grasp the field operations, and prevent any violations once found.
