Amphibious pontoon introdution
Amphibious pontoons belongs to excavator attachements, amphibious pontoons are mainly design to replace the crawler of the normal excavator, after being assembled, the new machinery called amphibious excavator will be capable of working in soft terrains such as shallow water, river dredging, river bank, seashore, seaside, swampland, pipeline laying project etc. Amphibious pontoons are welded, the inside part is empty, some type are designed with steel structure to make is more firm but it will be heavier. The amphibious pontoons will provide enough buoyancy that the upper excavator need. With an amphibious pontoon, the whole machinery will be able to work in max 1.2m water. Amphibious pontoons maintanence method
1 Please cleaning the body of the amphibious pontoon after the work, as the mud mixed with water might erode the amphibious pontoon.
2 Do regularly exam the chains&track shoes of the amphibious pontoons, if the chains is too tight or too loose, is there any curve on the track shoes, these have to be done to avoid further damage to the amphibious pontoons.
3 Constantly offer enough mechanic oil to the parts to ensure working efficiency of the amphibious pontoons.
4 Please don't drive the amphibious excavator on the road for too long, because it brings too much stress to the amphibious tracks.
5 Please avoid walking on road where there are many stones&rocks so that the serivie life of the amphibious pontoons&tracks will be longer.
