BABY ALPACA IS VERY SOFT: The fibre fineness (22.5 microns) results in extremely soft and lightweight garments, comparable to cashmere.
BABY ALPACA HAS THERMAL AND BREATHABLE PROPERTIES: The particular structure of the fibre acts like thermal insulator, protecting the body from cold weather and helping maintain body heat and humidity. Garments made of Baby Alpaca are thus suitable and comfortable at both low and high temperature.
BABY ALPACA IS RESISTANT: Baby Alpaca is a very strong and elastic fibre, resulting in resistant yarn and durable garments. As compared to other fibres such as wool or other noble fibres, Baby Alpaca is less subject to pilling and felting.
BABY ALPACA IS ANTISTATIC AND HYPOALLERGENIC: Baby Alpaca does not contain lanolin (the natural oily substance found in wool), resulting in the hypoallergenic nature of this fibre, which does not hold dust and does not cause allergic skin reactions
