Reinforcing Mesh
Reinforcing mesh is netted welded steel reinforcement product. The longitudinal and transverse reinforcing steel bar is arranged with a certain distance at right angles to each other.
All cross-points are welded together with strong electric resistance. With high precision, small error and high quality, it is widely used in many sectors. Reinforcing mesh has a wide variety of uses, ranging from the ordinary household to heavy industry.
Reinfocing mesh is considered to be a new, efficient and high quality construction steel with reinforced concrete. It is widely used in housing floor, roof, wall, terrace, concrete pavement, deck paving, airport runway, tunnel lining, concrete pipes, piles of industry and civilian, etc.
Reinfocing mesh can reduce the installation time. With dense spacing of reinforcing steel bars, longitudinal bar and transverse bar will form into a netted texture for anchoring bond. This can prevent the emergence and development of concrete cracks. Concrete surface cracks can be reduced about 75% if reinforcing mesh is installed on pavement, terrace and floor.
Welded Reinforcement Mesh supplied by us can be classified into four major types:
Rectangular Welded Mesh with wires crossed in a form of a rectangle, and longitudinal wire as the supporting one;
Square opening welded steel mesh with wires crossed in a form of a square, and both longitudinal and transversal wires as supporting ones;
Welded Wire Mesh for vertical wall building;
Special type.
Above reinforcement mesh can all be used in concrete reinforcing. Concrete is one of the more common materials used in the construction of commercial buildings. Its properties make concrete an excellent choice for steel structures, cladding systems and floor slabs on grade.
Although concrete is an excellent building material and is extremely strong in compression, it has one limitation - concrete is weak in tension. By combining concrete with material that is strong in tension, we can create a composite that greatly reinforced. This type of steel reinforcement used in concrete is welded wire mesh (WWM) or welded wire fabric (WWF).
Concrete reinforcement mesh consists of pieces of wire or rebar welded together to form a grid pattern. The size of the grid pattern is typically 4-inch-by-4-inch up to 8-inch-by-8-inch. This type of reinforcement is used to minimize shrinkage cracking in the surface of the concrete.
Applications:
Welded steel bar panels are widely used in construction reinforcement, the ground for the tunnels, bridges, highway, airport and wharf, also in construction of wall body.
