What are the main differences between thin tiles and traditional tile?
The main differences are:
1)Thinner---Its thickness is only 4.5mm;
2)Lighter---Its weight is only 1/3 of the traditional tile’s;
3)Larger in size---Its dimensions can be up to 1200x2400mm. Because of these properties, thin
tiles have great advantages in application and transportation.
Are thin tiles breakable?
Thin tiles look thin and large in dimensions. This gave people some impression that ultra-thin tile
is breakable. In fact, this is a kind of misconception. For the traditional tile with its thickness less
than 7.5mm, its average breaking strength is 700 or a little bit more; and for ultra-thin tile, it is
up to 747. You can see that ultra-thin tile is not weaker than the traditional one.
