1,The total length of cylinder = door thickness + thickness of the fitting on the outside + thickness of the fitting on the inside

2,Cylinder is equal sides cylinder if it is fitted in the middle of door.

3,Cylinder in unequal sides cylinder if it is notin the middle of the door,

4,The cylinder must protrude only max 2-3mm from the fitting on the outside and inside
