In accordance with DIN 18 252/09-1999 and EN 1303 standard,continental cylinders are divied into three quality grades:

By the number of pins Grade I & II: 5 pins ;   Grade III:6 pins

Key differ rate

Grade I & II: 1/30000    Grade III: 1/100000

Determination of the cylinder length

1,The total length of cylinder = door thickness + thickness of the fitting on the outside + thickness of the fitting on the inside

2,Cylinder is equal sides cylinder if it is fitted in the middle of door.

3,Cylinder in unequal sides cylinder if it is notin the middle of the door,

4,The cylinder must protrude only max 2-3mm from the fitting on the outside and inside.
