SMC ( Sheet moulding compound), it is a reinforced composite material.

 

The main raw material by Special yarn, unsaturated resin, low shrinkage additive, MD, fillings and various additives.

After proceeding, with polyethylene film on both sides of the cover sheet.

 

Application:

 

These sheets are machinalbe and can be conveniently cut, drilled and joined using normal workshop tools, Thus, this sheet  can be easily converted into bus bar supports,mounting plastes, termial boards etc. for use in electrical and electronic equipments.

 

 Special Features:

1. Excellent dielectric properties such as volume resistivity, surface resistivity,arc resistance and comparaive tracking index.

2. Non-hygroscopic and retain dielectric property enev in presence of high humidity.

3.Can withstand continuous temperature up to 140C
