We offer a few curing method for any custom carbon items:-
-Hand Lay Up (Wet lay carbon)
-Vacuum bagging (Wet layup, then bagging)
-Vacuum Infusion/ LRTM (dry layup, then bagging and infusion)
Due to the cost and the efficiency, we are highly recommend for our infusion vacuum manufacturer method.
For our vacuum infusion/LRTM item, we can do them in 4 types:-
- Polyester with Carbon Skin w/ FRP Back Bone – light weight and better overall strength compare to hand lay, more tidy and less imperfection
- Epoxy with Carbon Skin w/ FRP Back Bone – Same as the above but extra strength and heat resistance (120-150 degree cent degree)
- Epoxy with Dry Carbon (No FRP at all) – lightest and achieve most strength. Motorsport use, most extreme
- Foam Core Structure – Very similar to ‘Honey Comb Structure’, but ‘Honey Comb Structure’ can only use vacuum bagging & on the item surface it will have a lot of ‘honey comb’ mark , it only restricted for flat surface panel, but for ‘foam core’ they can be use on complicate surface as well as different type of ‘foam’ can make the panel to different requirement such as fire resistance, heat resistance etc. This is also very popular in motorsport and F1 use.
