1. P-HC-BRC30000000 – BRC300 Harmony Bridge Controller
The BRC300 (also known as SPBRC300) is the central CPU module that serves as the "brain" of the process control station (FCS). It performs two critical functions within the DCS architecture:
Control Processing – Executes control logic, collects I/O data, performs PID calculations, and manages sequence of events (SOE) recording with ≤2ms resolution
Network Bridging – Transmits field data to the INFI-NET backbone while receiving and distributing upper-layer commands to field devices
Powered by a 32-bit Freescale ColdFire MCF5407 RISC processor running at 160 MHz with 257 MIPS computational performance, the module features 8MB SDRAM, 512KB NVRAM, and 2MB Flash ROM. It supports over 150 predefined ABB function codes, as well as C applications, Batch 90, and user-defined functions. The architecture supports redundant controllers, communications, I/O, and power – primary-to-backup switchover occurs in milliseconds without process interruption.

2. PHCBRCPBA20000 – PBA200 Processor Bus Adapter
The PBA200 is a critical processor bus adapter designed for the Symphony Plus Harmony Rack (HR Series) architecture and ABB Bailey INFI 90 control systems. This hood-style PBD assembly enables high-speed, deterministic communication between BRC300/BRC400/BRC410 controllers and distributed I/O modules.
Built on the PBA800 distributed architecture, the PBA200 allows bridge controllers to access remote intelligent I/O racks with high-deterministic serial communication. This eliminates kilometers of analog signal cables from field to control room, significantly reducing cabling costs and installation time. The serial communication link provides microsecond-level latency – essential for critical closed-loop control applications such as CCS (Coordinated Control Systems) and DEH (Digital Electro-Hydraulic control).

The PMKHRMBRC3000A is a factory-terminated, high-reliability redundancy cable assembly engineered specifically for ABB Bailey INFI 90 and Symphony Harmony DCS systems. This prefabricated cable provides the critical physical interconnection for redundant processor pairs, enabling near-zero latency state synchronization between primary and backup controller modules.
The cable serves as the dedicated physical mirror path linking primary and backup module nodes – ensuring complete memory image alignment across the processor pair. The standby controller assumes control within milliseconds during fault scenarios without process interruption.
