1. The engine is shipped without oil (lubricant). You must add oil before use. **Do not start the engine without oil.**
2. As a four-stroke engine operates under high temperatures, it requires oil of the specified grade. Do not substitute with ordinary motor oil. After adding oil, avoid placing the engine horizontally to prevent oil leakage.
3. The first 10 hours of operation constitute the break-in period. After this period, the lubricating oil must be changed for the first time. The gear oil in the propeller leg must be replaced regularly.
4. When starting, push the choke in (to restrict air intake and enrich the fuel mixture). Once the engine runs normally, pull the choke out (for normal air-fuel mixture operation).
5. Always reduce speed before shifting gears. Shift only at low speeds, as high-speed shifting can damage critical components. When shifting rapidly from forward to reverse, pause briefly in neutral.
6. The idle speed is pre-adjusted at the factory and generally requires no adjustment. If needed, adjust the idle speed using the black plastic screw on the carburetor.

For any returns, the buyer bears the cost of two-way shipping. This motor comes with a 1-year warranty. For repairs under warranty that require returning the unit to the factory, the factory does not cover the shipping costs.
