The filter plate is the core component of the filter press.
It is mainly used in solid-liquid separation processes and is widely used in chemical, mining, environmental protection and food fields.
It is made of polypropylene, reinforced polypropylene or metal materials, and has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, high pressure resistance (0.6-2.0MPa) and high temperature resistance (≤120℃).
During the operation of the filter press, multiple filter plates are closely arranged through the hydraulic system to form a closed filter chamber.
The slurry is introduced through the feed channel under pressure drive, the liquid passes through the filter cloth and is discharged through the filter plate guide holes, and the solid particles are intercepted to form a filter cake.
The structural design of the filter plate (such as groove depth and flow channel distribution) directly affects the filtration efficiency, filter cake solid content and equipment processing capacity.
High-end models are equipped with reinforced polypropylene filter plates, which realize precise flow channel layout through molding process. With the help of automatic control system, fast unloading, backwash cleaning and remote monitoring can be realized, which significantly improves the stability and economy of industrial continuous filtration operations.
