IS200TRPAH2AFD Relay driver output/pulse input
The DS215TCQAG1BZZ01A is an analog I/O board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VLM family for turbine control systems. The Analog IO Board (TCQA) extends and adjusts the large number of analog signals read by the end boards installed on the I/O cores R1, R2, and R3. This set of signals includes LVDT inputs, servo valve outputs, thermocouple inputs, 4-20 mA inputs and outputs, vibration inputs, relay driver outputs, pulse inputs, voltage inputs, and generator and line signals. On STCA boards, some signals are written through 3PL connectors. Through the JE connector, the TCQC board receives and sends generator and line signals. The TCQA board adjusts 420 mA input signals, including fuel flow pressure and compressor stall detection signals.
TCQA Connector:
2PL - Distributes power to the TCPS board and the core from the TCPS board.
3PL - Data bus between STCA, TCQA, and TCQE boards in the kernel, and between STCA, TCQA, and TCQE boards in the kernel. For transmission to COREBUS, conditional signals are transmitted on 3PL.
JA - Transmits thermocouple inputs and cold end corrections for the corresponding R1, R2, and R3 cores from the TBQA board connected JAR/S/T.
JB - Transfers 4-20 mA inputs and outputs to the JBR terminal board connection on the TBQC.
JD - Transmits the trip signal from the R1 core to the TCTG board in the P1 core; Not used in R2 or R3.
TCQA configuration:
Hardware: The mA output circuit is selected using hardware jumpers J1 and J2. mA Output current range (maximum 20 mA) or maximum 200 mA, configured using J5 and J6. For card testing, the RS232 port is connected to J7. The oscillator is activated by J8. For more information about the hardware jumper Settings for this board, see Appendix A and the Hardware Jumper panel of the operating interface.
Software: Enter 4-20 mA input and output, vibration, LVDT position, pulse rate, and I/O configuration constants of the thermocouple in the I/O configuration editor of the operating interface as follows.
Pulse rate input circuit:
The TCQA board contains circuits to adjust and regulate the pulse rate input read from the TCQC board via the JE connector. These signals come from the magnetic pick input and the TTL (transistor-to-transistor logic) input, whose signals are sent to the QTBA and/or PTBA terminal boards. The high pressure shaft speed is input into the "R1" core. The pulse rate input circuits on R2 and R3 can use other signals.
TCQA 4-20 mA Input circuit:
The circuits for 0-1 mA and 4-20 mA input signals are provided by the TCQA board. The signal is read from the TBQC terminal board via the JB connector. The voltage drop is measured by the TCQA board and written to the I/O engine via the 3PL connector, as the sensor current is reduced on the load resistance. The current range of the input signal is selected using the hardware jumper on the TBQC terminal board.
