ASTM a213 Tp316L is a grade belonging to heat exchanger or high-pressure tubes that are designed with 316L austenitic stainless steel. The ASTM A213 TP316L Tube is manufactured with a superior chemical composition of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum. The content allows these modules to work in highly corrosive and oxidative media. The low-carbon ASTM A213 SS 316L Tube is also seen in environments where pitting and crevice corrosion are easily induced on the material. These tubes are designed in thickness between 0.40mm up to 12.70mm. The robust 316L tubes can be processed in a hot or cold drawing process. ASTM A213 TP316L Cold Drawn Tube is processed at room temperatures allowing the modules to have enhanced surface finish and outstanding strength. The components in the ASTM a213Tp316L grade are produced in seamless, welded, or erw configurations. The SA213 Tp316L Seamless Tubes are manufactured via the extrusion process. Designed without welds or seam, the ASTM A213 UNS S316l00 Seamless Tube has outstanding strength and 20% higher load-bearing capacity when compared to welded tubes. These tubes are designed in size between 1/2 OD up to 12 OD and are available in lengths of single, double random, and cut sizes. The material utilized in producing the AISI 316L Seamless Tubing makes them a little more expensive than welded pipes. They, however, are very much preferred in harsh applications across stress-induced setups. The AISI 316L ERW Tubing is manufactured as a high-voltage current is passed through the metal to longitudinally weld it in place without the need for any filler material.
