The briquette press, also known as a chip briquette press, consists of a hydraulic station, hydraulic cylinder, feeding module, mold cavity, and pressing head. The feeding module is responsible for adding material, while the hydraulic cylinder drives the pressing head to compress the material within the mold cavity to form it. The briquette press has high pressure and a small compression area, thus providing a significant compression pressure. The resulting briquette blocks are small in volume and high in density, which not only increases the value of the material but also reduces storage space, lowers transportation costs, and reduces smelting losses. Additionally, the briquetting process can extrude most of the cutting fluid, which can be centrally recycled and reused after treatment, reducing environmental pollution and saving costs. Therefore, it is widely used in the processing of metal chips in machine shops.
