Product Description

Copper sulphate

The physical and chemical properties of copper sulfate pentahydrate are transparent dark blue crystal or powder, the solubility in 0ºC water is 316 g/L, insoluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in most other organic solvents. It is gemstone green in glycerol and slowly weathered in air, losing two molecules of crystal water (30ºC) by heating and turning into white hydrate (CuS04.H20) at 110ºC. When containing impurities, it is yellow or green and has no smell. This product has a strong corrosion on iron. Copper sulfate is not only a kind of fertilizer, but also a widely used fungicide. Bordeaux liquid, copper soap liquid, copper ammonium preparation, is made of copper sulfate and lime, soap, ammonium bicarbonate
