Zinc, Aluminum, Cadmium Sacrificial Anodes Direct Factory Delivery Anti-corrosion Material
Zinc anodes can be installed vertically or horizontally in the soil and should be watered thoroughly before backfilling. Anode cables can be connected directly to the protected structure or via test piles. Typical cable connections to the protected structure include welding and mechanical connections.
In order to connect the anode to the protected body, an insulating copper lead is usually connected to the anode core and the connection is sealed with a heat shrink tube or multiple layers of splicing tape. The size, length and insulation type of wires are usually selected by the customer according to their needs. The anode is packaged in a cloth bag filled with a low-resistance backfill mixture consisting of 75% gypsum, 20% bentonite and 5% sodium sulfate.
