Working Principle:

When there is a surge voltage or current on the system line, the high resistance of SPD changes to the low resistance, and SPD immediately conducts to the ground within nanosecond, releasing the surge energy to the earth through SPD.

After the surge, it quickly returns to the high resistance state, so as not to affect the normal power supply of the system.

Installation:

It is installed in parallel in the main distribution inlet panel at the low-voltage entry end of transformer, the distribution box with overhead input in the building, the outdoor distribution cabinet/distribution box and other positions.
