• USES AND METHOD

LT-01 is an economical manually operated vacuum leak tester. It’s also designed by ASTM D3078 standard test method for determination of leaks in flexible packaging by bubble emission.

Equipped with the control unit and a standard test chamber with usable space of 270 φ*210mm H, it is suitable for seal integrity tests for various package forms used in food, pharmaceutical, medical, stationery, cosmetics, packaging sectors, etc.

A test sample is placed into this chamber filled with water and the air is drawn out to a controlled level of vacuum. Thus a pressure difference is created inside and outside the sample. The gross leaks can be checked and tracked by eye, when the sample is expanded.
