Main features:

usage method:

1、VOK®- SD-1 is suitable for non-polar to medium-polar solvent systems with good results. Mixing can be added at any stage of production and manufacturing. It is not necessary to add chemical activator in general solvent system, and it can also be used for post-correction of paint mixing process.

2. The shear rate of this product must be greater than 4 m/s. The activation time depends on the size and structure of the paint mixing tank, the type of agitator and the shear rate, and the viscosity and solid content of the paint system.

3. During the paint mixing stage, the reaction tank temperature is between 21 ℃ (70 ℉) and 35 ℃ (95 ℉) to achieve good rheological properties. There is no temperature limit for pigment grinding process.

Amount added:

1. The dosage shall be adjusted according to the viscosity, anti-sagging and anti-settling requirements of the system to be added. Generally, it is 0.2-1.0% of the total amount of the formula.

2. When VOK®-SD-1 When replaces the traditional organobentonite rheological additive, it can replace the original additive with the same amount.

3、VOK®-SD-1 is not recommended for use in lubricating greases or systems without viscosity.

Storage conditions:
