Product features and advantages
VOK®- AL 7590 is applicable to aliphatic non-polar solvent based systems. It is mainly used in alkyd resin coatings, such as architectural coatings, porcelain and general industrial coatings, anti-corrosion coatings.

0.2-0.8% of the total formula (purchase form).

Adding method and processing guidance VOK®- AL 7590 shall be added in the pre dispersed part and before the pigment and filler are added. It is recommended to pre disperse in solvent/film former for about 5 minutes. Applicable systems are limited to non-polar aliphatic solvents, such as n-hexane, n-heptane, naphtha solvent and white oil.
For good results, the processing temperature should be between 50 ℃ and 80 ℃. If the upper limit temperature is exceeded, gel like particles may be generated during cooling. The formation of such particles can be prevented by slowly cooling to below 45 ℃ while stirring.
Within the recommended temperature range, VOK®- The AL 7590 is dispersed as high as possible under the shear force, which can quickly produce obvious rheological properties.
Special Tips
Castor oil rheological aids are particularly sensitive to solvent and temperature. Therefore, it must be added according to the temperature corresponding to the specified solvent. It is recommended to cool the finished product slowly. Avoid adding low-temperature solvent during paint mixing.

VOK®- AL 7590 is particularly suitable for powder coating systems and has good compatibility with many film formers. Because its melting point is as low as 86 ℃, VOK®- AL 7590 improves fluidity during baking. This has a positive impact on the smoothness and other visual characteristics, such as gloss, pigment freshness, and coating uniformity. Because of its good compatibility and transparency, VOK®- AL 7590 can be used for powder varnish.
We suggest in the system VOK®- AL 7590 is used with standard leveling aids. The VOK®-AL 7590 improves the mixing behavior of premixed pigments in the high-speed disperser, resulting in uniform extrusion and increased output. It can also obtain better dispersion of pigments and fillers.

VOK®- AL 7590 is a prepolymer modified with epoxy and one component silane. Simultaneous The VOK®- AL 7590 provides high stability in an easy to machine manner. VOK®- AL 759 is thermally activated at 30-70 ℃, which increases the viscosity of the system in the low shear range, and has the least effect on the viscosity in the high shear range. This feature makes processing and construction very convenient.

Adding method and processing guidance
VOK®- AL 7590 for one component silane modified prepolymer must be added, mixed and activated at a specific temperature (30-70 ℃). It needs to be added dispersedly in the planetary mixer, and the remaining raw materials (plasticizer, coupling agent, etc.) in the formula are the same.
