Alloy 800 is a combination of nickel and chromium alloy that has excellent tensile strength and resistance to oxidation as well as carburization properties. This alloy is extremely functional as it maintains a stable structure, even when exposed to high temperatures. Alloy 800 is extremely resistant to corrosion, even in an acidic environment. For high-temperature applications requiring optimum rupture and creep properties, Alloys 800H and 800HT are used.

Inconel 800 Round Bar Per AMS 5766

Inconel 800H/HT (UNS N08810 + N08811) is a dual-certified alloy meeting the element requirements of both alloys. The difference between the H and HT is the restricted aluminum and titanium content in 800HT. This results in higher creep and stress rupture properties. It is also moderate in strength with good resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures for long periods of time at 1200 Degrees F - 1600 Degrees F. It eliminates embrittlement from precipitation of the sigma phase and provides resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking. This alloy is used in chemical and petrochemical industries, power plants, industrial furnaces, and heat-treating equipment.

Incoloy 800HT is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy. The alloys’ higher creep-rupture strength is the result of aluminum, carbon, and titanium contents. In addition, Incoloy 800 has good corrosion resistance in acidic environments while being resistant to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature environments.

Incoloy 800HT bar is available in the wrought bar up to 8" in diameter and larger sizes and shapes may be forged to order.

Incoloy 800HT seamless pipe is available up to 8" NB. Larger sizes are available in welded construction (100% X-ray) and can also be fabricated to order. Incoloy 800HT tubing is available up to 3" OD. Incoloy 800HT redrawn tubes and tubing with tight tolerances can be supplied in almost any size no matter how small the size or quantity.

Applications Incoloy 825:

Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with molybdenum and copper added to it. It has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, and to localized attacks such as pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy is especially resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. Used for chemical processing, pollution-control equipment, oil and gas well piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production, and pickling equipment.
