The severe cold in winter has led to an increasing demand for electric blankets. According to relevant statistics, the use of electric blankets in Europe far exceeds that in China. This has also attracted the attention of many businesses. Electric blanket, also known as electric mattress, is a contact type electric heating appliance. It weaves or sews a specially made soft cord type electric heating element with insulation performance up to the standard into the blanket in a coiled snake shape, and generates heat when it is energized. However, China's electric blankets must be CE certified when they are exported to Europe.
Technical documents to be prepared for CE certification:
1. Name and address of manufacturer (EU authorized representative (EU authorized agent) AR), name and model of product, etc;
2. Product instructions;
3. Safety design documents (including key structure drawings, i.e. design drawings that can reflect the creepage distance, clearance, number and thickness of insulation layers);
4. Product technical conditions (or enterprise standards), establishment of technical data;
5. Electrical schematic diagram, block diagram and circuit diagram of the product;
6. List of key components or raw materials (please select products with European certification mark);
7. Testing Report;
8. Relevant certificates issued by the EU authorized certification authority NB (for other modes other than mode A);
9. Registration certificate of the product in the EU (for some products, such as Class I medical devices, general IVD in vitro diagnostic medical devices);
10. CE Declaration of Conformity (DOC);
