PFXA401 is a controller from ABB, and its detailed information is as follows:

Functional features: Designed to provide a wide range of functions while being highly user-friendly. The control unit covers the installation possibilities of all edge sensors, can calculate the correct edge and center position and width of the material strip, and can also calculate the actual position and width of the strip relative to the rolling mill. The filtering time starts from 10 milliseconds. Equipped with a self diagnostic testing system, including continuous edge sensor testing, supporting unit selection (millimeters, inches).  

External connection: There are 2 analog inputs for setting nominal thickness and nominal width, 4 analog outputs (voltage or current), 8 digital inputs for control signals, and 8 digital outputs, providing a+24V power supply (0.5A) for external devices. In addition, it also has Ethernet connection, which can connect other mill control and operation devices as well as other control systems using VIP protocol. It is equipped with 2 RS-232 serial interfaces for external display, control, etc., and high-speed fieldbus can be optionally selected.
