Description of pcm1861

Pcm186x series (pcm1860, pcm1861, pcm1862, pcm1863, pcm1864 and pcm1865) audio front-end devices adopt a new audio function integration method, so that they can easily comply with European ecological design regulations and realize high-performance terminal products at a lower cost. Pcm186x supports 3.3V single power supply operation and provides integrated programmable gain amplifier (PGA) in small package; With this configuration, smaller and more intelligent products can be achieved at a lower cost.

Pcm186x audio front-end supports single ended input level from small MV microphone input to 2.1vrms line input, without external resistive voltage divider. Front end mixers (mix), multiplexers (MUX) and PGAs also support differential, Pseudo differential and single ended (SE) inputs, making these devices ideal interfaces for products requiring interference suppression. Pcm186x integrates many system level functions that can assist or replace some DSP functions.

The integrated bandgap voltage reference provides excellent PSRR, so a dedicated analog 3.3V power rail may not be required.
