Characteristics
1.To promote graphitization and reduce the chilling tendency;
2.To refine grains, reduce segregation and make the organization uniform;
3.To enhance the mechanical strength, adjust the hardness and improve mechanical properties;
4.To improve the matrix and distribution of graphite morphology;
5.To reduce internal stress and sectional sensitivity of castings.
Application
1.It is widely used in common gray iron and ductile iron castings, inhomogeneity of wall thickness castings and plants which need long pouring time or have long distance in transferring molten iron.
