Color Coated PPGI Steel Coil

Color-coated steel coils are based on hot-dip galvanized coils, hot-dip galvalume coils, electro-galvanized coil etc. After surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatment), one or several layers of organic paint are applied to the surface, and then Products that are baked and cured. Color-coated steel coil have light weight, beautiful appearance and good corrosion resistance, and can be directly processed. The colors are generally divided into gray, sea blue, and brick red. They are mainly used in advertising,construction, home appliances, electrical appliances, furniture, and transportation industry.

Color Coated Steel Coil's Based Material

Color-coated coils are based on galvanized steel coils and galvalume steel coils

Galvanized steel coil

The product obtained by coating the organic paint on the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet is the hot-dip galvanized color coated sheet. In addition to the protective effect of zinc, the hot-dip galvanized color-coated sheet also has an organic coating on the surface to protect it and prevent rust, and has a longer service life than hot-dip galvanized sheet. The zinc content of the hot-dip galvanized substrate is generally 180g/m2 (double-sided), and the maximum zinc content of the hot-dip galvanized substrate for building exterior is 275g/m2.

Galvalume steel coil

Hot-dip aluminum-zinc steel (55% Al-Zn) is used as the newly coated substrate, usually containing 150g/㎡ (double-sided) of aluminum and zinc. The corrosion resistance of hot-dip galvanized sheet is 2-5 times that of hot-dip galvanized sheet. Continuous or intermittent use at temperatures as high as 490°C will not cause severe oxidation or scale formation. The ability to reflect heat and light is twice that of hot-dip galvanized steel, and the reflectivity is greater than 0.75, which is an ideal building material for energy saving.
